Us parents love having a place where the littles can be upright and playful instead of reclined or on their tummies. They love to interact with us while playing in here and it's also easy to keep them entertained while doing a quick chore. All of our babies loved to bounce in here, and it's great that you can adjust the height as they grow. Generally the batteries for these die within 48 hours, even when the toys are turned off after each use. With our son we would remove the batteries and add them back in before he used it (a pain as they are velcro'd on and the battery compartment requires a small screwdriver). We finally gave up and he didn't care: the elephant still moves up and down and the car still makes a pleasing sound without the batteries. We put a set in once with the girls and gave up when they died the next day. This toy is a favorite and really makes the activity center as fun as it is, so thank goodness for that. All in all a great buy and a fun piece that our babies and relatives' babies have loved and will continue to get good use out of. The only issue I can mention, and I know from having 16 grandkids that this is an issue with ALL the saucers they've had, getting the baby in and out of the soft seat is a challenge. The seat is plastic covered so it sticks to their legs if they're not in pants. And it's hard to get a younger child in it if they dont know to straighten their legs and aim for the holes(tho by the time they get to that age they're too old and big for these anyways). The clunky jumping (when I help her jump aka press down on the top part) kinda scares her, its a loud plastic clunky sound and has no music to hide it.
