Simm 5.0 out of 5 stars My Subaru Outback broke around the time we picked it up, so what we'd purchased to fix and sell has turned into our main car. We'd not had a Mitsubishi before this one, and had we known it would be what we'd be driving for the foreseeable future I don't know if we'd have bought it.http://konisochi.ru/pic/02-polaris-scrambler-500-manual.xml

I'm happy we did though because, really, we've been pleasantly surprised by everything about this car. Most parts are inexpensive, and it's not difficult to work on. It has a comfortable interior, and it handles well. It's definitely not the fastest car we've ever had, but it gets you where you need to go in relative comfort and cruises well at highway speeds. I could see it being harder if you can't do car work yourself- but.Change the oil. Be religious about it, every 3-4k or so. Replace major parts that need replacing. An this car should last. Very dependable car, have the OZ Rally edition so it has some bells and whistles. Looks a lot faster than it actually is, drives like a solid sedan, looks a lot sportier. Has been a very good car to me, well built. It now has 137k, and only recently did we make any major investment in it by replacing the timing chain and water pump before they failed. A breeze to work on, oil changes are a snap, just about the best DIY car we have ever owned. After the bubble economy Mitsubushi was financed by Daimler Chrysler. Now in current style, Daimler AG has taken up only the Mitsubishi Fuso trucks-buses section, and sold shares of Mitsubishi Motors, which became the passenger car manufacturer. Mitsubishi and Daimler's connection is still continuing by Mitsubishi supplying engines to Smart, the Daimler group company, but in recent years, the OEM supply of Outlander to Peugeot and overall partnership with Peugeot is much noticeable. After the alliance cancellation with Daimler, Mitsubishi had a difficult time for introducing new cars in the market.ADDI800.COM/images/02-mustang-gt-manual-to-auto-swap.pdf

However, these days it is successively introducing new cars, and that is clearly reflected to business management. In 2009 electric vehicle “i-MiEV”, which is based on mini vehicle “I”, was sold to the market earlier than other manufacturers.Selected: Pre-ship inspection Insurance Nearest port: Country Please Select Nearest port Please Select Shipping Please select if you want to know shipping cost. You have to remove the driver's seat for access (unless you are a tiny person, which does not describe me since the age of 7). You then just start removing the dash until you can see all the hardware Richard mentioned. You WILL be disconnecting dozens of wires, cables, hoses, screws, bolts, brackets, connectors, and so forth. The console comes next. That's BEFORE you remove anything, which of course is before you INSTALL anything. Its a heckuva a job. And it requires a TON of time, even for a professional in a fully fitted shop. Also, you WILL have squeaks, rattles and gremlins in your accessory functions and air vents forever afterward, assuming BEST case and the install is as professional as anyone could ask. On my PITA-ometer, I have this one pegged at the top of the page. DOABLE, no doubt about it, I did it, and the car ran just fine afterwards. But I would not do it a second time. Better solution: Sell your car, and buy a 5 speed car. But IF you wind up doing it, take LOADS of pics (you will need them, and make sure your friend doing all the work TAGS every little wire and hose (etc, etc) as he disassembles so that everything will go back together again afterwards. As far as complete kits that include all this stuff. I have never seen one. The only way to keep the cost down would be by pulling parts from a donor car in a junkyard. If you have to buy all those parts retail, the cost will be high. Post up those pics. This would be very handy - this question crops up frequently (do a search on the forums and you will find the others). My setup (although still working on install) is posted there as well. I would have a new clutch, flywheel, slip yoke and u-joint but you would still need pedals and cable linkage system, starter shim plate etc. The T45RS is a stronger transmission than the Tr-3650 and IMO, it is better and definitely smoother shifting. The T45, like the T56 6 speed, is a single rail linkage system where the 3650 is a multi rail system.

What that means is the single rail system has 1 main shift rail running thru it that the shift forks hang from while the multi rail uses 3 main rails with 1 fork on each rail. Single rail systems are noticeably smoother shifting as compared to a multi rail. Its just too much to put into the car and it may still have problems afterwards. Im of course a poor college kid too which doesnt help. Out of the 5 dealers I talked to, not one of them had one (and these are big dealers). I got a good deal on a fully loaded '00 but I've never been overly happy with the fact it's an auto. It's a beautiful car, silver with black leather interior. It has 48,000 miles on it and has never had anything done other than oil changes and coolant flush. Now that the car is almost paid off, it's time to have some fun with it. Do you all think it would be worth the swap. I'd really like to keep this one as it's my first brand new car, but if it would be more pain I might look for a used 04 Mach 1. Thanks for the help. Why would I need to reprogram the computer. I will start looking for a wrecked 99-04 to be a donor car. I plan to do all the work myself. From what I've heard, it's not worth the time or money to swap the transmission. But its up to you. You asked for info not opinions i hate it when people just say trade it in But its up to you. You asked for info not opinions i hate it when people just say trade it inIf you have to ask what you need I'm gonna guess you'll have to ask how to do it. It will take alot more info than can be given over the net. Of course that is only the answer you will get if they're polite. Your 3rd choice (and the one I recomend) is to do all the preventive measures and live with a fussy transmission then if it fails bring it to Ford and let them fix it under wtty. Mark, I do mean the part about not trying to insult but unless you have done a ton of stuff to your car to make it special a swap is unrealistic. The Magnum is a transmission made by Tremec it may be more robust but the gear ratios do not work as well with the Coyote from what I've read.If you have to ask what you need I'm gonna guess you'll have to ask how to do it. The Magnum is a transmission made by Tremec it may be more robust but the gear ratios do not work as well with the Coyote from what I've read.Just FYI to be ready for what you are getting into I do recommend swapping out the trans fluid with redline mt-90. My cars on the unit and making 5xx hp and 5xx trqs. Have 7000 miles and know its a waiting game before something goes. I’m honestly tired of it and want to tone it down a little bit but still would like to piss off my neighbors lol.Mufflers? Or whole new exhaust? Simple process. Only issue I had was a little spark when one of the wrenches hit a part of the battery terminal but that should do no harm. Well after putting everything back in its place. I start the car and the service. Has anyone had any of these similar issues with the cluster. Before this gets all crazy with the discussion of help. I have never experienced any of these problems before my new tune. While driving my cluster looses all information.

The only thing that is accurate is my. The location is on passenger side right above the steering rack. Not sure if something is leaking from above. Any ideas I had the car idle for 45minute while squeezing the upper and lower radiator hose and even rev alittle. The radiator fan came on at least 5 times in the process but I. Come join the discussion about performance, horsepower, modifications, troubleshooting, racing, and more. The snickt-snickt of the gears, flawlessly executing a heel-toe downshift as you throw the car into the next turn of the Wendy’s drive-through, watching the revs rise in sync with your speedometer instead of lazily floating around the converter stall point, the brief moment of silence where the exhaust calms down and the vibrations stop as you push the clutch in, select the next gear, and unleash the dogs of war once more. These are counted highly among Things That I Like and so I took it upon myself to replace the aging, broken C3 automatic transmission in my 1986 Fox body Mustang with a 1995 T5 manual. I was quite surprised how small this trans is. It’s rather the compact thing and is light enough for a single person to carry it. Advertisement For those not familiar, this is the chosen victim. My 1986 notchback “four-eye” Mustang LX. With a 3-speed automatic and a throttle-body-injected 3.8 liter V6 from the dark days of the Malaise era this is no drag strip dominator, nor is the live rear axle and sloppy four-link suspension going to result in an autocross cone killer any time soon either. Clearly, something must be done to liven it up. Advertisement Step 1: Rethink your life choices Aside from just replacing the chunk of metal that makes the car move there is a critical addition to the interior that must be made: a third pedal. Unfortunately you can’t crawl under the dash bright-eyed and bushy-tailed with a clutch pedal in hand and bolt it to the firewall. Oh no.

Here’s step 1: Advertisement Drop the steering column, realize it’s hanging up on all of the car’s super-rigged wiring for the stereo, destroy half of the wiring and then remove the column. Advertisement Four bolts under the dash and then a whole bunch of 30 year old plastic connectors that I attempted to gently remove at first and then began hitting with a hammer and chisel. Swollen plastic. Never again. Advertisement Upper dash must be removed and the gauge cluster pulled out so the speedometer cable can be pulled out into the engine bay. The grommet the speedo cable passes through on automatic cars is where the clutch cable has to go so it needs to be re-routed. A long extension assists with getting four bolts on the firewall free and then you find someone with more upper body strength to wiggle the pedalbox out of the car. Advertisement Lonely single sadness on the left, happy couple on the right. “Simply” toss it back into the car, which is 2 hours of swearing and struggling in this super dignified position: Advertisement Then take a quick glance at your pile of interior Advertisement Luckily Ford seems to do a decent job of making things come apart easily. Most of the time. Which is good because there is quite a lot that needs to come out. Advertisement Once the pedals are back in it only took a half hour or so to get the steering column back together and in the car, after which I checked to make sure all the relevant electronics and switchgear still worked. I also found a bolt in the steering column on the underside that has the head in the center that attaches a large chunk of plastic that holds the tilt mechanism to the metal column. I noticed the whole steering assembly was wiggling at that point so I got an open-ended wrench and tightened it an eighth of a turn at a time until I got it tight. Boom. No more bouncing steering wheel. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of this.

Advertisement Four nuts later and the column is back in the car All of the plugs go back in far easier than they came out. Advertisement uh yeah just gonna shove that up above the column and ignore it Advertisement Suddenly boom the car is on a lift. And honestly for a 30 year old car that spent years sitting in a field in Kansas this is pretty impressively free of major rust. Advertisement There is quite a lot of oil though. Advertisement This was the only “real” rust in the whole undercarriage, and this wasn’t even soft just some surface rust around this drain plug thing. Upon going to remove the exhaust we noticed the nuts on the exhaust flange were impossible to get to. Who would design such a thing? Nobody. Turns out the engine was sitting a few inches to the passenger side. Here is a motor mount: Advertisement Here is an ex-motor-mount Advertisement Fabulous. We jacked up the engine enough to get the bolt and wrestled the exhaust out in one piece, which is probably good because there isn’t really anywhere it can come apart (don’t even bother with the slip fittings, that magic isn’t happening). Advertisement At this point the sun started peeking through the rainclouds so I took a moment to appreciate how incredibly humid it was and wipe the sweat off my brow, replacing it with a nice streak of black gunk. Advertisement Spent the next few hours undoing impossible to get to bolts and spilling ATF everywhere. Eventually you’ll be rewarded with an absurdly heavy lump of metal. Advertisement Climb back into the car and angrily unbolt the automatic shifter and throw it at the wall as hard as possible. Ponder why it didn’t so much as crack and reevaluate your thoughts on 80s plastics durability. Advertisement Much room for activities. Advertisement Spend 5 years jiggling the transmission around trying to get it to slip through the clutch into the pilot bearing and then realize the stupid debris shield thing has slipped slightly and is blocking the trans.
